I am a 23-year-old nanny going back to school and looking to fill in the gaps in my schedule. My schedule until June leaves availability on Tues and Thurs until 5:45, MWF 2-7, and Fri mornings. I am looking for 15-25 hours/wk and can begin ASAP. Moving into the summer I can continue part-time on a schedule that works for you, or increase hours.
I have ample experience with children of all ages, though mainly infant-age 4. I spent 3 years working with toddlers and preschool-age children in a Reggio center. I have also worked with infants in a Montessori school. Prior to my current position (the family just moved) I was a nanny for a year and a half for toddler twins. I tend to integrate several educational philosophies but we can, of course, work together on this. I am experienced with cloth diapers, potty training, infant sign language, and conversational Spanish. I also have some special needs experience. I'm more than happy to help clean up around the house and I love to cook.
Possibly my only caveat (depends on who is reading this!) is that I only use my legs or public transit to get to and fro. That being said, punctuality is never an issue for me and I can get everywhere I need to be. I live downtown in the PSU area but can commute anywhere near public transit.
My rates vary beginning at $13/hr, dependent upon age of children, number, and your needs. If I sound like someone you might like to know, please email me! I have a resume and references available upon request and I'd be happy to tell you more about myself. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
