This is from a Pdxpapa so I hope this is okay. We are looking for childcare for our 19th month old son. We will be living in close-in NE for at least the first 3 months (starting mid-January) as we look for a house to buy. I have called many places with long waiting lists and since we found out we would be moving to Portland two months ago - we are not on those :) I have a fairly flexible job but we would be looking for full-time care at least 3 days/week. If you are an option or know of one -- please feel free to e-mail me at email@example.com. Thanks! -Josh

Registered daycare has a FT (5 full days) spot available to a child who is 2 or older! I am located in SW Portland between Multnomah Village and Garden Home.
A little bit about us: We eat healthy food, and do not watch tv. We get abundant amounts of time outside. We love early art experiences, and love to mess around with clay, markers, watercolors, torn paper, leaves and stones, and whatever other materials we find. We have ample room for the kids to play inside, with a large dedicated play area in addition to the rest of the house. Outside we have a play structure, and both our front and back yards are fully fenced, with a driveway gate to keep everyone safe. We also have an organic garden the kids like to help with. Prior to opening my daycare I worked with Multnomah County Library for many years. I highly value the role of stories in a child's life, and have an excellent collection of children's books, which we read from several times each day.
Daycare hours are from 7:00 am until 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, though I can be a bit flexible depending on your needs-we can talk! Rate is a flat $200.00 per week. You do not pay for days I'm closed for holidays or on vacation. Our home is cozy, warm and welcoming, and your child will be happy here. If you are interested in learning more, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with some information about your child and your scheduling needs, and I will get back to you soon! You may also call or text me at 503-310-6535. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you!
